This is the excuse you have been waiting for to rent your dream car and not feel guilty about the price or to add on an extra day and save more! Walk up to the counter with confidence and quickly get the keys to your prepaid rental car. 

To take advantage of these rental car deals in Canada, enter your rental details above. When you choose your car group in the next step of the reservation, choose “Pay Now” instead of “Pay at Counter.” Your total savings are displayed just below the “Pay Now” button on eligible vehicle types. Before completing the reservation for your rental car on budget.ca, you will be prompted to add in a form of payment. 

Following your prepaid rental car reservation, double-check the confirmation email and make sure the dates, location, and information are correct.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your prepaid reservation, we can make it happen. Call Budget Canada at 800-268-8900 to get started. 

If you cancel your reservation at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time, a fee of up to $50 will be charged.

If you cancel your reservation within 24 hours of the scheduled pickup time, a fee of $150 will be charged.

Please, don’t forget to call when you have to cancel your reservation. No portion of the prepaid amount will be refunded for renters who do not cancel ahead of time and do not arrive to pick up the rental car. Similarly, if a prepaid car rental is returned early, no refunds are issued.

Best rates online does not include rates extended to select Budget partnerships and are available at participating locations only. Prepay terms and conditions will be presented on Step 3 of the reservation process.

The savings of up to 35% applies to Budget Pay Now rates and is applicable only to the time and mileage charges of the rental. Offer does not apply to car group X All taxes, fees (including but not limited Air Conditioning Excise Recovery Fee, Concession Recovery Fee, Vehicle License Recovery Fee, Energy Recovery Fee, Tire Management Fee, and Frequent Traveler Fee) and surcharges (including but not limited to Customer Facility Charge and Environmental Fee Recovery Charge) are extra. Offer is available for U.S. and Canadian residents only for rentals at participating locations in the U.S and Canada. Weekly rates require a minimum five day rental period. Weekend rate available Thursday noon; car must be returned by Monday 11:59 p.m., or higher rate will apply. A Saturday night keep and an advance reservation may be required. Offer is subject to vehicle availability at the time of rental and may not be available on some rates at some times, including some online rates at Budget.ca. Car rental return restrictions may apply. Offer subject to change without notice.  Holiday and other blackout periods may apply. Renter must meet Budget age, driver and credit requirements. Minimum age may vary by location. An additional daily surcharge may apply for renters under 25 years old. Rental must begin on or before 12/31/2023.
